Lesson straight from my eyes: two is better than 1.
I’ve always thought I have good eyes. That is, I can see and read things without problem. But when my eyes got checked, turned out I have astigmatism.
I kept telling the doctor my eyes are good. Or I thought so.
She explained that I don’t exactly feel a problem because my two eyes are helping each other so I can still see “perfectly” (or it seems). Truth is, if one eye is covered, the weakness of the other eye becomes evident. and that is — i can’t see clearly as I’ve thought.
Two is better than one, that is.
Tomorrow, I’ll start to see the world through my new eyeglasses. And this time, I know better :p
